Join us for a free evening of remembrance, music and the lighting of the special Christmas tree.
Let your memories shine this Christmas.
Come together with family and friends to enjoy Christmas carols and musical performances and a silent fireworks display.
This year we will be holding two celebrations within the Hospice grounds:
Thursday 12th December
The afternoon celebration is at 5.30pm
The evening celebration is at 7.30pm
Refreshments and Christmas goodies will be available to purchase at both celebrations.
Remembering your loved ones
Booking tickets is not necessary but to support the Hospice, you can make a dedication to a loved one in our online Book of Remembrance by clicking on the button below…
Names added to our online book will be transferred to our 2019 Hospice Book of Remembrance which you’ll be able to view in at Light up a Life. At the event, you can also choose to write the name of your loved one on a star, to be placed around the Christmas tree.
Getting to the event
Parking – important information: Due to the fencing around the perimeter of the park, the change in car parking arrangements will remain the same as last year for 2019’s Light up a Life celebrations. As a result the car park will be open from 5.00pm-5.45pm at which point the car park will be closed until all cars have exited following the first celebration. We predict the car park will reopen at 7.00pm ready for the second celebration starting at 7.30pm. Apologies for any inconvenience caused, if you have any questions please do contact firstname.lastname@example.org
How your support helps
By supporting Light up a Life, you will be helping more people to cope after the loss of a loved one.
Losing Mum was one of the hardest things I’ve ever gone through. Soon after she died, I started to meet up with Beth at the Hospice (a children’s worker). Having someone I can chat to who isn’t part of my family and together, we can have really honest and open conversations. – Maya
Just £50 could help someone like Maya cope after someone they love has died.
How can I raise money?
