Giving in memory

Remember and celebrate the life of your loved one by giving in memory. Your special gift will enable more local people living with a terminal diagnosis, and their families, to access the care they desperately need.

Funeral collections

Many supporters of Birmingham Hospice ask for donations in lieu of flowers at funerals; we are very grateful to those who choose to support us in this way. Asking friends and family to make a donation is a long-lasting and meaningful tribute to loved ones you have lost.

For cash donations, we can supply collection tins. For online donations, setting up a MuchLoved Tribute Fund is a beautiful and personal way to pay tribute to a loved one, where you can invite friends and family to donate through your page. We kindly ask that any cheques are addressed to: Birmingham Hospice.

MuchLoved Tribute Fund

Setting up a personalised tribute webpage gives you the chance to create a dedicated online space for friends and family to remember a loved one. They are a place to share pictures, thoughts and precious memories.

You can now add a special tribute on our Memory Wall to remember and celebrate the life of your loved one. Alongside your dedication, there is the option to make a donation to the hospice if you so wish. You can also set up tribute pages for your loved ones with MuchLoved.

Memory Trees

These beautiful trees of tributes have 600 leaves of gold, silver and bronze. Each leaf can be inscribed with the name of a loved one, to be kept on the Memory Trees for as long as you wish.

The Memory Trees take pride of place in both hospice reception areas. Inscriptions can be made for all loved ones, whether they had a connection to the hospice or not. By celebrating a loved one in this special way, you will also be helping our hospice to support and care for people and families living with life-limiting illness.

Bereavement Support

We understand that bereavement can be isolating and can provoke strong emotions that can be difficult to talk about and manage. Please click on the link to find out more about our wellbeing services, and how we can support you during difficult times.

GriefChat

If you need to talk to someone confidentially and quickly, please consider using GriefChat, provided by MuchLoved. It is a free and completely confidential service, where you can talk openly to a trained bereavement counsellor between 9am-9pm, Monday – Friday. Here, you can access immediate support, and chat with someone who can guide you to any additional bereavement support you may need.
