How your company can make a difference

Workplace fundraisers

We would love to work with you to create a workplace fundraiser, helping your fundraising ideas come to life, supporting you throughout your fundraising and providing you with new and innovative ideas of how to engage with your colleagues and clients. We can supply branded materials and fundraising packs.

Sponsorship opportunities

What better way to invest your marketing budget than in supporting our vital care, all while raising your profile across the city? We’ll work with you to create a bespoke sponsorship package that aligns with the objectives of your business, we can raise your profile, introduce you to a new audience, at the same time as hitting your marketing and PR objectives.

Corporate volunteering

We understand that volunteering and CSR days are hugely important. Let us support you in achieving your CSR goals by volunteering with us. We have many volunteering opportunities that you can get involved in, such as gardening, taking over our shops for the day, running activities for our patients in our Living Well Centres, event preparation and support.

Join the Above and Beyond Club

Could you become a proud representative of our hospice in the Birmingham business community, while also building your own network and profile? Our Above and Beyond Club represents our hospice at events and awards, invite us along to networking opportunities, and provide introductions to key contacts.

Payroll giving

You can make a huge difference through our payroll giving scheme. By swapping your morning coffee and donating £5 per month, you could provide the simple pleasure of a cup of tea and slice of cake, creating memories at our Living Well Centre where people are supported to live well with a life-limiting illness.

Events

By taking part in our much-loved fundraising events and activities by yourself or with colleagues from your workplace, you will enable more local people living with a terminal diagnosis to receive the end of life care they desperately need.

Where your money goes

Corporate bereavement awareness training

We are keen to help build compassionate workplaces across the city: workplaces that support employees who are living with a terminal diagnosis, caring for someone with a life-limiting condition, or dealing with loss and grief.

Our corporate bereavement awareness training will give you an introduction into some of the theories of bereavement and grief, to help you understand any emotions that people who are dealing with a loss may be feeling.

Within the session you will gain an understanding of:

  • The impact of grief on the individual, the wider family and the workplace.
  • Some of the secondary losses that bereavement can bring to these groups.
  • Conversational tips to help individuals feel more confident in approaching their peers, to share their condolences and offer support.

This training will enlighten you about the impact of grief on the body and mind, and considerations that need to be made to accommodate this in the workplace. Signposting to additional resources will be given at the end of the session.

We are pleased to provide this training and our services free of charge to help you and your organisation support colleagues who are dealing with grief and loss.

Become a corporate sponsor for Birmingham's next art trail!

Birmingham Hospice is proud to announce we have partnered with Wild in Art to bring the next art trail to Birmingham!

Birmingham Hospice and Wild in Art are so excited to announce the 2025 new sculpture trail for the city with a bespoke sculpture based on the famous 2.2m bronze statue of a bull turning in motion which sits outside the entrance of The Bull Ring.

The bronze statue was created by sculptor Laurence Broderick and has become a popular tourist destination and city mascot. It celebrates the past and future of Bullring and Birmingham and symbolises the spirit of the city and its people – strength, persistence and determination.

We are looking for businesses and organisations to support the project through sponsorship. Find out more here.
