We need your help to create a deliciously tasty Community Cookbook!

During these difficult times, we know a lot of you are spending time in the kitchen cooking up your favourite dishes. Whether it’s your famous vegetable soup, a scrumptious curry with a kick or that delicious chocolate dessert which the kids just love – we want to hear from you.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be asking for your favourite starter, main and dessert recipes to add to our cookbook, which will be sold to raise funds for the Hospice in May. It’s a great way to share your love of cooking with others, so that they can try new recipes at a time when we’re all spending more time at home…and in the kitchen!

We’ll also be asking if you have a recipe which has been passed down from a loved one who is sadly no longer with us, giving you the chance to make a special dedication to them in the book and include their photo.

Take a look at a recipe that was sent in to us from two of our fantastic volunteers featuring their Grandma Green’s Lemon/Orange Drizzle Cake and here is a picture of the scrumptious cake;

Send your recipes to fundraise@birminghamhospice.org.uk along with a picture of your yummy food cooked up, and your dedication if you would like to include one. We can’t wait to see them!

The Community Cookbook will be available to download in May to raise vital funds for the Hospice, so stay tuned for more news.

Send us your yummy recipes to include in our Community Cookbook!
