Our charity shops raise vital funds for the Hospice
The generosity of donors and shoppers play a crucial role in supporting the community, and helping us to provide care to local people living with life-limiting illness.
All of our charity shops are currently closed
As we enter Tier 4 restrictions we’ve once again had to close the doors of our 16 charity shops. Whilst we can’t invite you in to shop with us in person at the moment, you can still support us by shopping online or by visiting our eBay store!
Whilst we’re extremely grateful for items donated by our wonderful supporters, we’re asking that whilst we’re closed you please do not leave donations outside our shops.
We can’t wait to welcome you all back as soon as it is safe to do so, thank you for your support!
Donation Drop Off Points
Our shops may be closed but you can still support us by donating your preloved items to one of our donation drop off points.
Our retail van will be onsite at the following locations between 10am and 4pm to kindly accept any preloved stock donations.
- Saturday 20th Feb – Cotteridge Furniture Shop forecourt, B30 3EE
- Saturday 27th Feb – Yardley Shop driveway, B25 8UX
- Saturday 6th March – Cotteridge Furniture Shop forecourt, B30 3EE
- Saturday 13th March – Sheldon Shop front, Coventry Road, B26 3PX
If you are already a gift aider, in order to have as little physical contact as possible we’d really grateful if you could write your Donor ID and postcode onto paper or labels and secure this both in and on each bag or box that you donate.
In order to adhere with our Covid-19 guidelines, bags & boxes should be sealed where possible and we unfortunately unable to empty & return any re-usable bags/boxes at this time.
Please make sure all of your donations are clean and usable. A list of acceptable items can accept can be found here on our website.
If in doubt remember the retail golden rule – if it’s unlikely you’d buy it, it’s unlikely we’d sell it.
Where’s my nearest shop?
We currently have shops located across Birmingham full of high-quality items mostly donated by you. Pick up a bargain vintage outfit or some fab furniture at your nearest Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice charity shop.
Staying safe in our shops
Your support means the world to us
We need to raise £9 million each year to fund the vital care we provide and 64% of this income comes from generous, voluntary donations. Without the items you donate and the money you spend in our shops, we wouldn’t be able to support local people living with life-limiting illness.
Thank you so much for all of your support, it really means a lot to us and we can’t wait to see you in our shops.
