As part of our February Appreciation Month, we are highlighting some of our fantastic supporters, who have taken part in some incredible fundraising for the Hospice during a challenging year for us all. This week we would like to say a #BSMHThankyou to Ella & Leah.
“We wanted to do something to raise money for the Hospice, after our Grandfather, Peter Smyth received fantastic care there, before he passed away in October 2020
“We put on a Charity Christmas Countdown raffle, where there were 25 days of amazing prizes to be won throughout December. These included hampers which were full of delicious biscuits, bottles, chocolate, sweets and more!
“We raised the funds by sharing a poster with friends, family and colleagues and this would be our advice to people fundraising – to share you fantastic fundraiser as far and wide as you can! We also drew the raffle daily on Facebook, which added some great interaction with those who had taken part!
“We really enjoyed fundraising for the Hospice and the community fundraiser was great too, supporting and checking in with us the whole way through”
Ella and Leah raised an incredible £2,138.68 from their fantastic Christmas Countdown Raffle! A big #BSMHThankYou to you both for your fundraising. This will have made a big difference to the Hospice, enabling us to continue to provide care and support to those who need it most.
