Birmingham Hospice launches city sculpture trail with Wild in Art

We have partnered with Wild in Art to bring the next art trail to Birmingham!

Birmingham Hospice is proud to announce we have partnered with Wild in Art to bring the next art trail to Birmingham!

Birmingham Hospice and Wild in Art are so excited to announce the 2025 new sculpture trail for the city with a bespoke sculpture based on the famous 2.2m bronze statue of a bull turning in motion which sits outside the entrance of The Bull Ring.

The bronze statue was created by sculptor Laurence Broderick and has become a popular tourist destination and city mascot. It celebrates the past and future of Bullring and Birmingham and symbolises the spirit of the city and its people – strength, persistence and determination.

We need your help!

We are looking for businesses and organisations to support the project through sponsorship. More information about sponsorship packages will be available soon. Businesses can register their interest here!

The large sculptures will be decorated by local and national artists. Artists can register their interest here!

There will be a learning programme with children and young people from Birmingham’s schools and young people’s groups creating smaller bull sculptures. These will be displayed in clusters in venues around the city.

At the end of the trail these sculptures will be returned to the schools and groups that created them as a legacy of the event.

Schools and groups interested in participating in the Learning Programme can register their interest here.

We’re inviting local community groups to get creative and join this unique community art event launching in 2025.
