Angela has worked in the the NHS for over 30 years in a number of senior medical positions across commissioning and provision of healthcare services. She trained as a GP and was until recently the Chief Medical Officer for an Integrated Care Board. She has a background in medical education and holds a Masters in Medical Leadership, leading to continued work on developing good practice in clinical leadership and engagement.
Angela’s passion is to ensure people from all walks of life can access and use services that would otherwise result in healthcare inequalities and social injustice. Improving services to focus on what matters most to people is central to her approach, with recognition nationally for teams she has led.
In her spare time she enjoys creating historical costumes and dancing in the company of good friends.
