Michelle qualified as a nurse in 1989 and since then has worked across primary and secondary care. She is a qualified District Nurse and has a Master’s in Health Policy and Organisations. She has significant experience of managing clinical services across the NHS, having spent 10 years as Chief Nurse in Lincoln, Stoke, Stafford and most recently Nottingham, before retiring last year. Her clinical speciality is Tissue Viability and she is passionate about staff development and wellbeing, and patient safety.
Michelle was born and raised in Nottingham and is a huge Nottingham Forest fan! She enjoys spending time with her husband Melv, son Will and her two wirehaired Hungarian viszlas called Stan and Reg.
