We are delighted to welcome Simon, Company Director at Green Gardeners to this year’s Christmas Treecycling Team. Along with his wife and son, Simon will be joining our army of volunteers who will be collecting and recycling Christmas trees across Birmingham and Solihull on 13th and 14th January.
This is our first year helping with Christmas Treecycling for Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice. This is such a worthy cause and myself along with my wife and son are looking forward to helping with this year’s tree collections.
Treecycling felt like the perfect campaign for us to get involved in. In my day to day job, I am responsible for a small team of reliable trustworthy and qualified gardeners, who provide regular garden and grounds maintenance to residential and commercial customers in the Birmingham area, along with gutter clearing during the winter months. So I’m used to getting stuck in and I’m not one to shy away from hard work!
I was so pleased that my family were also really keen to get involved, and we’re looking forward to doing this together. The Hospice provides an invaluable service to people when they need it most, so we felt that any support we can give will hopefully make a difference.
Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice Treecycling scheme offers an easy and convenient way for you to dispose of your Christmas tree – all whilst supporting local people living with a terminal illness, and their families. In exchange for a donation, we’ll arrange for your Christmas tree to be collected and recycled during our Treecycling weekend.
On 13th and 14th January, our army of volunteers will be collecting Christmas trees from the following postcode areas: B13, B14, B15, B17, B26, B27, B28, B29, B30, B31, B32, B38, B90, B91, B92. So don’t delay – book your collection today!
