Birmingham Hospice has won an award for Excellence in the Third Sector at the Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce Awards 2024.
The award, which was sponsored by Unity Trust Bank, recognises efforts to build partnerships and engage with the local community.

“Our Retail Team were also recognised for their commitment to increasing income through opening our Harborne superstore, Reloved Revolution by Birmingham Hospice, which was also shortlisted for the Excellence in Retail, Events and Hospitality category.
“I am also proud to share that our charity was commended for our internal and external work on equality, diversity and inclusion and making our hospice and services a welcoming and accessible place for all.
“We would not have won this award without the ongoing hard work and dedication to Birmingham Hospice from our colleagues. I am incredibly proud of the work that they do and the difference they make every day.”
There were 11 award categories up for grabs, with a total of 78 businesses being shortlisted.
Around 1,200 people attended the event, sponsored by Birmingham City University, which recognises organisations that have gone above and beyond in the past year.
