Buying from our charity shops is a fantastic way to support Birmingham Hospice while making sustainable fashion choices that help the planet.
Our Erdington shop (121 High Street, Erdington) has recently been converted to a clearance outlet, where everything costs just £1.
The outlet sells a range of quality goods, with high street fashion brands and bargain finds all at the same low price. Customers can find a healthy supply of children’s clothes and toys, as well as jewellery, shoes and accessories. There is also lots of entertainment on offer, with plenty of books and CDs to choose from.
The recent price changes have really boosted the shop’s customer base – it’s now packed with people on the hunt for sustainable bargains!
Cath D’eath, Area Manager, said: “Converting our Erdington shop to a clearance outlet has had a positive impact on the local community, providing an affordable place to shop for good quality clothing and homeware items, regularly refreshed throughout the day.
“This has produced much-needed income for the hospice to continue providing its end of life care for free during these challenging financial times.
She added: “It enables people to regularly refresh their wardrobes, proving that fashion doesn’t have to cost the Earth! People can be more creative in upcycling existing clothing with pieces that they have purchased from the shop.”
Sarah Elliott, Erdington Shop Manager said: “Sustainable fashion is not a trend, it’s the future.
“Customers are not only raising vital funds for hospice care; they are making a positive impact on the environment, without sacrificing style or quality.”
We are on a mission to become Birmingham’s number one sustainable fashion retailer. Shops like our Erdington store help fund local palliative care while providing people with affordable, ethical fashion – a winning combination.
