Park Regis Birmingham and Birmingham St. Mary’s Hospice are joining forces for a gravity-defying fundraising event.
Corporates are dared to face their fears and tackle a 48 metre abseil down the Park Regis Hotel, before taking on a ‘stair rush’ to the top floor on Friday 4th November.
A live leaderboard will post times as competitors race up the 16 floors to reach the Sky Bar. On completion challengers will be greeted with a glass of bubbly to celebrate, and a chance to relax and soak up some gorgeous views.
First to take the challenge will be Dr Becky Dawlatly from Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice and Robin Ford, general manager at Park Regis.
Dr Becky Dawlatly from Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice, said: “We’re delighted to be working with Park Regis to host the exciting Fright or Flight challenge. This is a great opportunity for corporate teams to bond, have fun and raise money for a great cause.
“Providing choice and accessibility is a vital part of what we do, and fundraisers allow us to keep supplying excellent palliative care and advice in a variety of community settings.”
Robin Ford, general manager at Park Regis said: “We’re proud to be supporting such a worthy and important cause for Birmingham. I hope to see many lively teams competing in November, as I’ve already signed up!”
