Jayne is joining us at Let’s Danceathon on Saturday 3rd March to show us how we can all be a little like Beyoncé…
I am so thrilled and excited to be teaching our version of the iconic Beyoncé dance. Single Ladies is such an empowering and uplifting song. Let’s face it, who doesn’t want a little bit of Beyoncé in their lives! Girl Power!!
Jayne Franklin School of Dance & Fitness is a long-established dancing school in Kings Heath, Birmingham offering dance classes in Ballet, Tap, Freestyle and Musical Theatre to pupils age 2 upwards.
We also offer Zumba and Pilates to adults and chair based exercise for the elderly.
We are a friendly, welcoming establishment that is open to all. The school first started 32 years ago, and continues to flourish.
Over the years we have put on many shows, raising thousands of pounds for many different charities. Since my Mom passed away in 2010, we have made Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice our sole beneficiary. It is my way of giving something back as the care that she received in her final days was outstanding in so many ways.
We have a big show coming up this year in June at the Core Theatre, Solihull when again we will be donating the proceeds to Birmingham St Mary’s.
I feel very privileged to be involved in this year’s danceathon for the Hospice and am looking forward to sharing my passion for dance with so many people for such an amazing cause and have lots of fun along the way!
Channel your inner Beyoncé and book your tickets for Let’s Danceathon today! Join us on Saturday 3rd March for a whole evening of dancing to support local families living with terminal illness.. www.birminghamhospice.org.uk/lets-danceathon.
