Today (Friday 18th July) Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice Chief Executive Tina Swani officially opened the Hospice’s new Solihull store. The opening was attended by staff, Hospice supporters and local residents.
Located at 387A Warwick Rd, Solihull it is the 13th store for the charity and their first in Solihull.
Selling a range of high quality garments in stylish surroundings, the store is part of a new breed of charity shops, that hopes to set a precedent for other high street charity shops to meet.
Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice Head of Trading, Lorna Forrest said:
I am so excited about our new Solihull store . Last year the Hospice cared for 82 patients and their families from across the local area, so it’s great to finally have a retail presence here. We have some really high quality items being sold in the shop, which has a boutique feel to it. My team and I look forward to welcoming the local residents.
