We’re very excited to share our latest dance style for Let’s Danceathon – African Dance with Lola!
In this fun and energetic dance style, you will learn African dance forms from a contemporary basis.
With enjoyable rhythmic music to develop rhythm whilst dancing, gain greater body awareness and all body articulation like never before.
Using her eclectic experience to create a unique style producing excitement that really resonates with Lola’s view of things – “A mixture of spices makes a tastier soup”.

Lola Adodo is a performance artist, choreographer, and health and fitness tutor of Nigerian parentage. She’s based in Birmingham and has been working in this field for over 10 years.
Her professional credits include performances with Sakoba Dance, Kokuma Dance Theatre, Foot In Hand, and collaborative work with Tribal Soul and Utopia Theatre.
She manages her own dance theatre company New Dance Scopes (NDS) on project basis. Her ethos is to create work that pursues excellence, exudes excitement and really resonates with her eclectic experiences and view of things.
