Adult bereavement support

Our specialist bereavement service provides free one-to-one counselling support to those who are struggling with the loss of a loved one.

Here for you when you need us

We understand that bereavement can be isolating and can evoke strong emotions that can be difficult to talk about and manage. Our free bereavement support is designed to help people to cope with the loss of a loved one.

Our trained and experienced Counsellors are here to listen to you and your family’s emotional concerns and support you.

At the hospice, we offer a safe and confidential space to talk about your feelings with one of our trained Bereavement Volunteers or Counsellors. Support available includes one-to-one support as well as bereavement support groups, and telephone support.

Providing bereavement support for people in Birmingham, and surrounding areas, is our specialty and our passion. People in need of support who do not fit the referral criteria for our wellbeing services may request our expert support on a private plan. Please contact the team for more information.

Referrals

From 1st Sept we can offer free wellbeing support to anyone with a connection to the hospice. People who don’t meet our referral criteria may access our services through a private plan. Please contact the Wellbeing Team by calling 0121 269 5000 to find out more.
