FREE regular online education for Care Homes

As we continue to face this unprecedented situation, we recognise that you and your teams may need additional learning and development which supports good end of life care and some of the specific issues and concerns you are faced with related to COVID-19.

Working with the BCHC Care Homes Support Team, our Hospices will be launching a programme of education to support you.

Bite size learning via MS Teams

This new curriculum of 40-60 minute live webinars is designed with care homes needs at the heart of it.  Commissioned by Birmingham & Solihull CCG and hosted by Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice in collaboration with Birmingham Community Health Care and St Giles Hospice, each webinar is delivered by Palliative Care staff via Microsoft Teams.

Launching with Infection Prevention Control, the rolling schedule of training covers a range of topics. Each live webinar is free to join and will enable you to share and learn together.

To find out more information on a particular session and to register please click the button next to webinar topic you are interested in attending.  Once registered you will receive an email on how to access the webinar through MS Teams.
