The Big Give – Christmas Challenge 2025

This Christmas, your generosity can make double the difference.

From 2 – 9 December, we’re taking part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge. For one week only, every donation you make to Birmingham Hospice will be matched £1 for £1, meaning your gift will go twice as far in helping us care for people facing a terminal diagnosis.

Help us raise £10,000 this Christmas

We’re aiming to raise £10,000 during the Big Give week – can you help us achieve our Christmas wishes and complete this epic fundraising challenge?

£5,000 could pay for around 9 days of specialist nursing support in our Inpatient Units – however, this week that could be doubled to 18 days of care thanks to you!

Remember – all donations must come through the Big Give website in order to count towards the target 🎁

This Christmas, your kindness can go twice as far for people like David

When devoted grandad David Robbins was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer, Birmingham Hospice became a place of comfort and dignity. For four weeks, David received personalised, compassionate care while his family were supported and able to stay by his side. From expert symptom management to simple joys, like preparing his favourite food – mandarins in cream, the hospice helped David spend his final days surrounded by love.

By giving to the Big Give Christmas Challenge, your donation will be doubled – helping us continue to provide this exceptional care for people like David, and support for the families who love them.

Every time Laura comes to visit it makes me feel really happy; she’s so warm and caring and when she talks, I understand what is happening.
