I have over 35 years of experience in the NHS as a nurse, midwife, and governance and risk specialist, and worked for eight years as a regulator/Inspection and Ops lead for the Care Quality Commission. Alongside this work, and realising the huge need for human connection and support, I trained as an Integrative Therapist.
Having formally retired in 2023, I’m now busier than ever, and have a thriving private practice, working with both individuals and couples. I have been working with the team at Birmingham Hospice part-time as a counsellor since 2023. I also volunteer for a national bereavement charity and am a qualified clinical supervisor. I am passionate about my work, and particularly enjoy the use of creativity with clients.
