Birmingham Hospice is looking for a part-time Clinical Supervisor to join its wellbeing team.

The Wellbeing Team is a specialist therapeutic team working in the bereavement setting, helping people to help themselves.  The Wellbeing Team consists of Adult/Children and a Spiritual service.  We are a very friendly team who strive on professionalism and providing person centred care.

The Wellbeing Team also provide a high standard of research based clinical supervision to our staff, the service has grown in the past few years, this is an exciting opportunity to join because we are growing and developing as a team and service.

What You’ll do

  • Provide clinical-reflective supervision using theoretical models and theories to our hard-working staff. Either as one to ones or groups, for all staff to develop professionally and build on reliance.
  • Enhance supervisees wellbeing by working collaboratively with supervisees to facilitate in-depth reflection on issues related to work and practice
  • Build solid relationships with all teams across the organisation, both clinical and non-clinical
  • Providing training internally and externally.

What You’ll Bring

  • University degree or Higher education diploma in appropriate subject
  • Qualification in clinical supervision
  • Significant experience of supervising individuals or groups
  • Knowledge of complex issues involved in therapeutic work within the field of palliative care
  • Good planning and organisational skills
  • Resilience, reliability and excellent communication skills
  • Creativity for continuous improvement
