Volunteers are the heart of Treecycling, helping us turn Christmas trees into vital support for hospice care. Join our incredible team and make a real difference!
Volunteer at our collection weekend (Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 January 2026), picking up trees and dropping them at our disposal sites around Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield and Solihull.
What we’d need from you:

- To be available from 8am to 3pm on either (or both) day

- To be able to drive your own or a hired van, or accompany a driver and pick up trees from the roadside
What you’ll get in return:

- A full briefing, including routes which show where to collect and drop off trees

- Refreshments on the day

- Protective clothing and equipment to use on the day

- A chance to meet others, have fun and make a difference to local hospice care!
Deliver leaflets
We also need people to help us spread the word and volunteer to deliver leaflets through letterboxes in your local area in November and Decembe, and you’ll make a huge difference to how much we can raise.
