Since its inception on 31 October 1997, TLC Lottery players have helped raise the impressive figure, with all proceeds going to three well-loved Birmingham charities: Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice (The Hospice Charity Partnership), Acorns Children’s Hospice, and Focus Birmingham.
We are now celebrating 25 years of vital funds raised through the lottery for our patients, thousands of dedicated supporters and many happy winners.
Simon Fuller, CEO at The Hospice Charity Partnership, said:
“Since starting back in 1997, TLC has raised an incredible £7 million for local charities, including Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice. The vital funds raised by TLC enable us to care for more local people living with life-limiting illness and their families.
On behalf of all of the staff, patients and families at The Hospice Charity Partnership, thank you so much for supporting local people in desperate need of end of life care. We couldn’t do what we do without you.”
