Next Upcoming Event: TBC
At the Hospice, we are very proud to have a fantastic ladies choir who, throughout each year, help to raise thousands of pounds for Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice by hosting seasonal concerts and individual performances.
The ladies choir first started in 2013, and since then have raised almost £20,000!
The group meets every Friday evening from 7pm-9pm at Selly Oak Methodist Church. Here, the ladies have the opportunity to practice their love of singing, learn new songs, help plan concert programmes and to have fun and socialise with other wonderful people.
As well as performing at least two concerts a year, the group also collectively and individually supports the Hospice in a range of other ways;
- Performing at Hospice events and other activities i.e. Light Up A Life
- Volunteer on Day Hospice reception taking on all administrative demands and enquiries
- Volunteer in the Day Hospice, helping patients during their activities
- Deliver talks across Birmingham to raise vital funds for the Hospice
The choir warmly welcomes anyone who would like to join and applications are open to all ladies regardless of background. The only requirements are that you are able to learn the notes and sing as either Sopranos or Altos.
If you are interested or would like more information at all please do get in touch by contacting email@example.com We would love to hear from you!
