Volunteer Gardeners

Reports to: Facilities Manager

Role Days/Hours: Flexible, ideally a couple of hours each week

Location: Either our Selly Park or Erdington site

How you can make a difference: Our volunteers play an essential role in ensuring our gardens look beautiful all year round and provide a tranquil space for patients, visitors and our colleagues.

Why Birmingham Hospice needs you

Both our sites have beautiful grounds, and with spring and summer just around the corner, we need people to help maintain these spaces and make them even better.

No qualifications are necessary and our Facilities Team will support you to help you to build skills through your role. We are looking for enthusiastic people with green fingers.

Duties will include:

  • Lawn Management (mowing/seeding)
  • Planting and weeding
  • Pruning and tidying
