Location: Birmingham Hospice Selly Park site, Finance Processing Office
Days required: Mondays and Fridays
Hours: Between 10am and 3pm (hours to suit availability)
About the Role:
We are looking for reliable and detail-oriented volunteers to join our friendly Finance Processing team to help count and process income received through various streams, such as collecting boxes, donations, event takings etc.
This is a vital behind-the-scenes role that helps to ensure the hospice’s funds are processed securely and accurately, supporting the delivery of care to those who need it most.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately counting and recording cash from collecting tins, events, and hospice shops
- Preparing banking paperwork and sorting funds for deposit
- Assisting with basic data entry or record-keeping as required
- Maintaining confidentiality and handling all income with care and accuracy
- Working as part of a supportive team in a secure and calm office environment
