All Courses and Training
We offer a range of palliative care and end of life training and educational courses to support health and social care professionals, including GPs, Doctors, nurses, AHPs and medical students.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, all face to face education is currently suspended, but we are still delivering a varied, ‘virtual’ curriculum via online platforms including Zoom and MS Teams.
We welcome the opportunity to work in partnership with providers from across the health and social care sector, commissioning a range of bespoke end of life and palliative care education programmes
General Educational Curriculum
Our general educational curriculum covers palliative and end of life care essentials. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, all face to face training is currently suspended, so delivery of the curriculum will be online.
Care Home Education
We are proud to work closely with care homes across Birmingham, supporting and training staff to enable good end of life care for residents and their loved ones.
Homelessness Support Services
From January 2021 our Homelessness Support Team is offering a free six month programme of learning, sharing and network support to third sector organisations and NHS teams; empowering them to recognise and support the palliative, end of life care and bereavement support needs of people who are homelessness.
Supported by BVSC and the Selly Oak Neighbourhood Network, we invite you to come together as communities, neighbours, colleagues and friends, to create a supportive network that helps us all learn, and grows our capacity to care for each other in death, dying, caring and bereavement.
Events and Conferences
Our schedule of events and conferences offers you informative, engaging learning experiences to help develop and improve your understanding of end of life and palliative care.
