Location: Multisite working between Selly Park and Erdington

Hours: 37.5 hours

Salary:  £88,000 per annum

DBS Requirement:  Enhanced check with Adult Barring List (a Companies House check will also be required)

 

At Birmingham Hospice our teams are committed to improving the quality of life for people living with life-limiting conditions, as well as supporting their families and loved ones during one of the most challenging periods they will ever face.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior clinician with extensive demonstrable experience in leadership to join a value driven organisation who wants to support more people who require specialist palliative and end of life care.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be a highly competent, diligent, and compassionate individual with prior expertise in a senior medical position in either the charity sector, the NHS or similar organisation. Having strong values, you will be comfortable living and demonstrating our values of Kindness, Respect, Positivity, Togetherness, Openness, and Innovation.

You will lead the Clinical Services Team and be responsible for the safe and effective care of all our patients. You will contribute to strategic planning and direction and provide positive, visible and dynamic challenging and empowering leadership in the clinical operational management of the hospice. You will be a confident people manager with a proven ability to provide inspirational leadership and to contribute to the daily running and future strategic direction of the charity as a member of the Executive Leadership Team.

Requirements:

  • A registered clinical professional in healthcare with current active UK registration.
  • Substantial post registration experience with significant management experience at a senior level.
