Visitor information

We ask that all visitors follow our visiting guidance to ensure the safety of our colleagues and patients.

Infection prevention control (IPC) guidance

  • We welcome open visiting at our hospices. There may be occasions where visiting may be restricted due to infection outbreaks. Please speak with the nurse in charge regarding any current restrictions at either of our hospice sites.
  • We do all we can to try and reduce the risk of outbreaks of infection at the hospice. We kindly ask that if you feel unwell, that you don’t attend the hospice.
  • Visitors should sanitise their hands upon entry to the hospice.
  • Cleanliness makes a significant contribution towards the prevention of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAIs). Please dispose of PPE appropriately in the designated bins and wash your hands before leaving.
  • Please ensure rooms are tidy and uncluttered to enable effective cleaning.
