7-year-old Parisa, together with dad John, found all 128 of our Bulls in the City in a single day using only public transport! Along with younger sister Zia, Parisa had been enjoying Birmingham Hospice’s art trail throughout the summer.

John told us: “All summer Zia, Parisa and I had enjoyed collecting the bulls. We came up with the challenge of doing all the bulls in a single day, using public transport to get around.
“We set off at 8am and headed to Northfield to collect our first calves. We walked to the train station and took a train to Selly Oak and then a bus into Harborne. We came to Edgbaston village and then Brindleyplace, the city centre and Mailbox, then on a train to Boldmere and Mere Green. We headed back into the city centre, collected some more bulls and then trekked over to Millenium Point, Chinatown and then back to Brindleyplace to collect a bull that we’d accidentally missed.
“We finished with Floradorabull at the Botanical Gardens which is one of our favourite bulls. It was about 8.30 in the evening. I had walked 40,000 steps so I’m sure Parisa must’ve done 60,000. She was such a trooper. She didn’t complain at all and we had the best day together. Zia didn’t join us as she is a little too young but she did meet us in Boldmere to collect the bulls there.
“We raised £867 pounds for Birmingham Hospice thanks to donations from our friends and family.
“I was really proud of her and one of my main ambitions of the day was to show her that anything is possible, even if other people think it is impossible or ridiculous.”
Well done to you both – we love your passion and dedication to collecting our whole herd.
