Volunteers are the backbone of the service we provide. They give their time for free to work and utilise every hour of their day to help someone that needs our care and service(s). We are looking for people across Birmingham and Sandwell who’d like to join our fantastic team of volunteers.

Their work is invaluable, and without them the hospice simply wouldn’t be able to provide the help it does for patients and their families. But it’s not all about what you can do for us, it’s very much about what we can do for you. Many of our volunteers learn new skills, widen their social circle and have an amazing experience knowing that every minute of their time counts.

Have you thought about the benefits of volunteering? Is it something you’ve been interested in doing, but aren’t sure what it involves? If you’ve answered yes to both of these questions, why not join our team at the Hospice.

Whether you can give a few hours a month, or come in and help several days a week, they’ll be a role to suit you for the amount of time you can give.

Maybe you’re looking for something with a social element – working with patients and their families, or maybe a more technical role is your thing. But it’s not all about what you can do for us; it’s very much about what we can do for you. Many of our volunteers learn new skills, widen their social circle and have an amazing experience here.

Every minute of a volunteer's time counts in helping someone positive in some way.
