Making a Difference: Everyone has spiritual needs whether or not they are religious.  Meeting the spiritual needs of individuals with a life limiting illness can be a source of great comfort. As a Spiritual Care volunteer you will provide a holistic approach to patients, relatives and staff.

Key Duties – You will…

  • Offer comfort and support to patients and relatives
  • Help patients and carers prepare spiritually for death and loss
  • Identify and arrange appropriate spiritual, pastoral or religious support
  • Work in an open minded and non-judgmental way
