Our Day Hospice is a bright and vibrant place. People come to spend the day with us once a week and for a 12-week programme. This helps them to live their lives in the best way they can, providing social support and learning the skills they need to live well from day to day.

We are expanding this service and are now looking for new volunteers to support us with this expansion.

Are you a person who likes helping and supporting others?

Are you able to support us with this valuable and life-changing work?

We are looking for:

Drivers – driving our vehicles or your own vehicle to collect patients and take them home.

Hospitality volunteers – to welcome patients and those who care for them, support with meals and refreshments and be a listening ear.

The Day Hospice Team truly value the role our volunteers play and they are an integral part of what we offer.
