Reports To: Head of Family and Carer Support Team / Secretary

Location: Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice

Hours: Flexible – minimum of 4 hours per week for each post - Monday to Friday

Making a Difference

The Family and Carer Support Team (FACST) supports patients of Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice and their families and carers and offers bereavement support to those who need it.

We are seeking 2 Administrative Volunteers who will play a key role in supporting the FACST Secretary by carrying out various administrative tasks.

 Key Duties

You will…

  • Support the FACST Secretary with general administrative duties
  • Provide co-ordination and administrative services for meetings
  • Support the organisation of workshops and conferences
  • Support team teaching by producing PowerPoint presentations and other materials as required
  • Help to maintain ‘Time to remember’ ceremonies

  • have good IT skills (including the use of database and Excel spreadsheets)
  • have administration experience
