Following the launch of our four year strategy at the end of 2016, Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice is seeking to recruit new trustees to help drive the organisation forward. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals who are passionate about improving end of life care and contributing to our success through great leadership and governance. The Hospice is particularly keen to hear from those looking to make a difference to their local community and with expertise in:

  • Clinical – nursing, medical, social work, allied health
  • Human resources & organisational development
  • Public relations & marketing
  • Business and commercial profile

Our vision – Hospice Care for All: A future where the best experience of living is available to everyone leading up to and at the end of life. Our strategy sets out a framework for achieving this vision in challenging and uncertain times.

The board of trustees play a key role in shaping the organisation and is made up of professionals of all ages and diverse backgrounds. Trustees serve the charity on a voluntary basis.
