Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice Christmas Treecycling scheme is back and we are aiming for our biggest and greenest year yet!

In exchange for a donation, our amazing volunteers will collect and recycle your real Christmas tree. 100% of your donation helps to provide vital, expert care and support to over 400 local people across Birmingham and Sandwell every day. It currently costs over £9 million a year to run our hospice services and over 64% of that comes from generous, voluntary donations like yours.

Book your collection today and take the hassle out of disposing of your tree whilst supporting your local Hospice. It’s as easy as one, two, tree!

How your support helps

£16 could pay for tasty meals for patients on our inpatient unit on Christmas Day

£28 pays for a group session of physiotherapy and relaxation in our Day Hospice over the festive period

£50 pays for a specialist bereavement support session to help a child coping with the loss of a loved one this Christmas

Last year, our amazing volunteers collected an incredible 3,700 trees, raising an amazing £70,000.00 for local families living with life-limiting illness. This was only possible thanks to the fantastic support of our supporters, volunteers and companies who gave up their time or made a donation to the campaign. Thank you so much for your support.

For more information, queries or questions please contact the Treecycling team on [email protected] or call 0121 752 8779.

*As our collections are supported by an army of amazing volunteers, we are limited with how many Christmas trees we can collect. If we reach our maximum number before January 6th, the booking system will be closed earlier than advertised.
