This Bank Holiday weekend we’re wondering if you could take part in our little challenge.
While all of the staff here at Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice will be working away as usual, supporting people living with life-limiting illness, we were wondering if you could give us a reason to smile by filming yourself doing a #BankHolidayBoogie…just a little dance to let us know that you’re thinking of us.
Here is your challenge:
- Find your phone
- Press record
- Dance! Including our ‘thank you’ arm gestures at some point, see the video below for more info :o)
- And share it on social media but don’t forget to tag us and use the hashtag #BankHolidayBoogie, so we’re notified of your video and can see your dancing!
- Finally, tag your friends and family to share the happiness and get them involved too, encouraging them to show off their best dance moves!
Here’s an example of what you could post:
This is my #BankHolidayBoogie for everyone at Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice, who are still doing everything they can during these difficult times to support people living with life-limiting illness in Birmingham and Sandwell, I hope it makes you smile… @Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice www.birminghamhospice.org.uk/thankyoudance
Will you do the same Janet, Joe and Jerry? [Tagging friends]
To inspire you, here are a few dance videos from our amazing staff and their wonderful friends and family:
