We believe hospice care can be delivered in any setting. Whether directly by Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice, through the health and social care professionals we educate or by organisations we work in partnership with such as prisons, care homes, hospitals and general practices. To ensure the best hospice care is available for all individuals, families and carers and loved ones across our community, wherever and whenever they need it. To support our ambitious plans, we are looking for an exceptional individual to take on the role of Shop Manager to cover one of our shops in Birmingham and Sandwell. Birmingham St Mary’s retail operation is a community based shopping experience with 16 successful shops in our portfolio. Our shops are of the highest standard and are vibrant, innovative and value for money. We have a commitment to growth and there is no ceiling to our ambition. Reporting to the District Retail Manager and directly responsible for the business, the purpose of the Shop Manager is to maximise the shop income, by supervising the day to day operations to the highest standard, providing excellent customer service to both donors & customers by managing & motivating the volunteer team. You will have previously demonstrated your ability to recruit, motivate and support teams of volunteers.
