Our one-day Summer School is free to attend and is aimed at 16-18 year olds who are keen to learn more about what it is like to work in a hospice/healthcare professional setting.

During the day you will have the opportunity to meet and ask questions with:

  • Doctors
  • Nurses
  • Physiotherapists
  • Occupational therapists
  • Social workers

Learning activities will include:

  • An introduction to hospice life
  • Hospice tour
  • Hospice myth busting
  • A day in the life of a healthcare professional
  • A patient and carer’s story

All learning will be delivered in a creative and professional environment by trained and experienced facilitators.
