18 hours per week – flexible working is essential to cover a 7 day a week a service. 

HOSPICE BAND 5 £22,036- £28,652 per annum pro rata 

Candidates must be car owners with a valid driving licence for the UK. 

Birmingham St Marys Hospice ‘Hospice at Home’ service provides personal, social and emotional support to patients and their families at home. The aim of the service is to provide compassionate care, and to help avoid unnecessary and unwanted admission to hospital in the last weeks and days of life. The team are part of an integrated community team and there will be opportunities to work across all community services. 

This recruitment is to support the extension of this successful service into the evenings and the majority of shifts will be evening shifts up until 22.00 hours. 

We are seeking to recruit 2 Band 5 Registered Nurses with the skills and qualities to deliver compassionate end of life care to patients and families at home. 

End of life care and/or community experience is desirable. 

There will be a comprehensive induction programme for this role with development opportunities as well.
