This is an exciting time at the hospice and this role offers the opportunity to advance the nursing service and be a major part of changes and developments in nursing practice. Applicants must be passionate about the development of a nursing service sensitive to the needs of palliative care patients. Working with the Lead Nurse for the Inpatient Unit you will be required to create and develop evidence based clinical competencies, classroom and bedside teaching of nursing staff and support the delivery of the wider education programme. An important part of your role will also be to enhance the nursing role through knowledge and education in order to develop the skills required to develop more nurse led service.
