We’re committed to sharing the knowledge we have gained after 40 years of delivering excellent, quality hospice care.  Our Professional Days will give you direct exposure to our hospice services and allow you to spend quality time with our specialised members of staff; actively improving your confidence, knowledge and skills around end of life and palliative care.

A typical professional day…*

9.00am: Arrival/sign in

9.00am – 9.15am: Introductions and setting individual objectives for the visit

9.15am – 10.15am: Hospice tour

10.15am – 10.30am: Light refreshments and networking

10.30am – 11.30am: Meet the team

  • Clinical nurse specialist  – Community team
  • Inpatient nursing team
  • Palliative care doctor
  • Physiotherapist
  • Occupational therapist
  • Social worker

11.30am – 12.30pm: ‘Ask it Basket’, ‘Questions and Answers’ session with the team, time to reflect on objectives

12.30pm: End of session
