6 month Fixed Term Contracts

Hospice Band 2:       £17,460 per annum pro rata (hourly rate £8.92). 

Rota Pattern: Various patterns for evenings (4pm – 8pm ), weekend days 7am – 12noon) and     

                       some week days (7am - 12 noon)

                        Exact shift details to be discussed at interview stage and may be subject to change 

                        at a later date.

Are you an efficient, organised and reliable cleaner with high standards looking for a rewarding role where your work can make a real difference to others?

We have a number of roles available currently on 6 month fixed term contracts to work within our Housekeeping team supporting both Offices, Day services and the Hospice Ward, including bathrooms. The successful candidates will be an integral part of our facilities team, they will be required to clean furniture, fixtures and fittings to ensure high standards of cleanliness which is key in the prevention and control of infection for our patients and visitors. They will be required to undertake deep cleaning following full training of our equipment and will also be required to undertake water flushing and record keeping to meet compliance.

It is essential for the post holders to be flexible to work additional hours at short notice to meet the demands of the department and to cover annual leave and sickness (which may include other evenings, weekends or bank holidays). Previous cleaning experience is essential, experience of cleaning in a similar healthcare environment would also be desirable. i.e. Hospital / Nursing home however full training will be given to the right candidates
