In-Memory Marketing Officer, Income Generation & Marketing Department

HOURS OF WORK – 37.5 hours per week

Hospice Pay Band 4 (£19,077 - £22,683)

Would you like to work within a fun and dynamic team to raise awareness of Birmingham St Mary’s across the community, increase levels of voluntary income and help ensure we continue to provide expert hospice care? If so, then this could be the role for you.

In-Memory giving provides vital income to Birmingham St Mary’s each year and this role will seek to market and grow this important income stream. Working with colleagues across Fundraising and Marketing, you will be responsible for developing a range of established In-Memory products, such as our Butterfly (Tribute) Funds and Memory Tree, where supporters can dedicate gifts and messages in memory of their loved ones. You will execute the In-Memory promotional plan, finding new ways to market these products both online and offline, as well as carrying out market research to put forward ideas for new initiatives. Not only that but you’ll have the opportunity to support the Senior Individual Giving Manager with key annual campaigns like ‘Forget Me Not’ and ‘Light up a Life’ by assisting the development of all fundraising collateral for new and existing supporters.

You’ll also be the first point of contact for all In-Memory enquiries and notifications of gifts, managing thank you and retention communications with supporters to help ensure we can deliver a ‘gold standard’ experience.

If you’re impact focused and results driven, have experience of project management and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills then we would like to hear from you.
