We have embarked on an ambitious and innovative programme of change and our proactive and professional HR team play a key role in supporting our managers in delivering this strategy. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented pro-active individual to lead a team responsible for all aspects of human resources management. You will enjoy working collaboratively with clinicians and managers to develop a strong and effective workforce that supports the Hospice’s strategic plans. The role is a challenging but enjoyable one, with a varied portfolio that covers the full range of human resource management together with taking the lead on non-clinical learning and development. Your professional HR qualification, membership of CIPD and extensive experience in the field of human resource management will provide credibility, as well as your ability to think creatively and build trust and confidence. You should have significant experience of leading a successful HR team together with evidence of managing organisational change and strong employee relations skills. You should also possess excellent line management skills and have an up to date knowledge of employment law.
