HR Assistant Role: HR Assistant – fixed term contract until 31st December 2019 Hours of work: 22.5 per week (worked over Tuesday, Thursday and Friday) Hospice Pay Band: 3 £17,958 pro rata ‘Happy to talk about Flexible Working’ We have an excellent opportunity for a HR Assistant to work within our professional, dedicated and friendly HR team. The main focus of the role is to provide administrative support across the department including creation and audit of personal files, support of recruitment activity, the organisation of the Hospice induction day plus a range of administrative tasks crucial to the smooth running of the team. The post holder will also have the opportunity to support with projects such as Investors in Diversity, the collation of recruitment metrics and the development of the new staff forum, providing a broad experience of the HR portfolio. The successful applicant should have demonstrable administrative experience. Previous HR experience would be beneficial but not essential. Excellent customer service skills are key to the role as well as a clear understanding of the requirements of working with highly confidential personal data. Competent use of all Microsoft packages particularly Excel will also be important.
