About Us Vacancies HR Advisor (Part-time) HR Advisor Part Time 22.5 hours per week Hospice Band 5 - £21,818 to £28,368 per annum pro rata Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice excels at providing end of life care. As a pioneer and specialist in our field we do this in a range of settings with the majority of care provided in people’s own homes. We have embarked on an ambitious and innovative programme of change and our proactive and professional HR team play a key role in supporting our managers in delivering this strategy. You will be joining us at an exciting time with the implementation of an integrated payroll and HR system planned for later in the year. The successful candidate will enjoy working collaboratively with managers to provide high quality HR advice on a range of employee relations issues which will include participating in investigations and supporting managers in case presentations. You will also be responsible for conducting exit interviews and producing data and reports for internal and external stakeholders on HR metrics. There will also be the opportunity to be involved in the delivery of our corporate Induction programme and the training which supports our comprehensive range of HR policies. You should have at least 3 years’ experience of providing an HR advisory service which includes evidence of strong employee relations skills, up to date knowledge of employment law and the ability to apply this in practice. Experience of facilitating short training sessions would be an advantage. If you hold or are working towards a CIPD qualification, have the ability to work flexibly, with excellent communication, organisation and time management skills we would be delighted to receive your application.
