Our volunteering service provides a variety of roles for people who are looking to gain experience in the Charity sector, give something back to the community or give something back to the Charity that has supported them and their loved ones.

Making a Difference

The Volunteer HR Administrator will support the HR department with general administrative duties including records management, collating and inputting data and support with project work. This is an excellent opportunity to use and develop your HR knowledge and experience and support the department to provide a professional HR service to the Hospice.

What we are looking for

We are looking for someone who is passionate about the Hospice and has the following:

    • Previous experience from within a HR background
    • Excellent verbal and written Communication skills
    •  A high level of IT / computer literacy skills including Word, Excel (essential)
    • Conscientious and committed to providing a high quality service
    • Enjoy interacting with people and like working as part of a team
    • Have a positive and professional attitude
    • Have excellent attention to detail and accuracy
    • Enjoy interacting with people and like working as part of a team
    • Have the ability to follow instructions but also use own initiative
    • Are reliable, flexible, adaptable and accepting of change
    • Professional personal appearance
    • Respect for diversity
