Head of Corporate Services (12 months Fixed Term) 

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week (full time)

Fixed term – 12 months, start date flexible, but as soon as possible

Hospice Pay Band: 8b £47,799 - £59,090

Reporting to the Finance Director, whose remit includes all support service departments, this senior role is responsible for ensuring efficient and effective delivery of all aspects of IT, Facilities and Finance operations for the group of Hospice companies.

 

The Head of Corporate Services is also responsible for contributing to the development of the Hospice strategically including the planning and development of Hospice services, management of resources, compliance with regulations and delivery of the Hospice’s aims.  

The key skills required for this role are –

  • A Professional qualification – e.g. Fellow of CCAB, RICS, PRINCE, ITIL qualified or demonstrable other at Master’s Degree Level (Level 7 qualification)
  • Expert knowledge of current legislation and reporting requirements in one of the Service areas;
  • Excellent IT and systems skills
  • Senior project management experience including change management
  • Commercial acumen and customer service focus. 

The post holder will be a key part of streamlining Support Services processes, increasing automation and developing the remit of the IT, Facilities and Finance functions as we design our next five year strategy to 2025.
