Go Pink! at school on Friday 9th October with your colleagues to help raise funds for Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice! We want to make your Go Pink! day as easy and fun as possible so here are some ideas to get you started;
WEAR IT PINK! Hold a dress down day at school, where you and the children can dig out your pink outfits from your best pink dress, pink shirt and tie or pink socks to wear to school! Maybe some children would prefer to accessorise their outfit with pink fancy dress! The choice is yours to how you Go Pink!
MAKE IT PINK! The children prior to the Go Pink! day could make fabulous pink crafts to then sell as part of the Go Pink! day to other children and/or parents at the end of the school day.
BAKE IT PINK! Hold a bake sale or baking competition with students and make it a pink theme! You could invite parents to buy some of the cakes at the end of the day, to add a yummy extra to your Go Pink! day!
We also have our wonderful mascot Hettie the Hedgehogs activity pack for you to also use as part of your Go Pink! day. It has lots of activities for children to do including a wordsearch, colouring sheet and a quiz about the hospice! In line with government guidance at the time, we would could also bring Hettie into the school as part of an assembly to say a big thank you for your support! Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like us to attend your assembly.
However you choose to Go Pink!, every pound you raise will make a difference to individuals living with life limiting illness, at the hospice, in the community and at home. Your support will enable us to continue to provide care and support to those who need us most and help them live well with their illness. Thank you.
